Data deletion
How to remove what Townlight holds about you, and where to check a Facebook or Instagram deletion request.
Facebook and Instagram
If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram business account to Townlight, you can remove the data we obtained from Meta at any time: open Facebook, go to Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites, find Townlight and choose Remove. Meta then tells us, and we immediately delete your access tokens, your profile name and the list of pages you manage, and disconnect the account. Facebook shows you a confirmation code you can look up on this page.
Posts your business wrote and published through Townlight, and their performance numbers, belong to your business and are not deleted by this request. An owner or manager of your business can delete them in Townlight.
Everything else
To delete your Townlight account or your business's data, ask your business's owner, or contact us at lj@edgeitmarketing.com. We complete requests within 30 days. See the privacy policy for what we hold and why.
Newsletter subscribers
If you subscribed to a business's newsletter, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter email. To have your address removed completely, ask that business: it controls its own subscriber list.
